Hobart College junior quarterback Ryan Hofmann completed 75 percent of his passes for a career-high 328 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 38 yards on four carries as Hobart beat Shenandoah 56-48. He was 18-of-24 passing without an interception and was not sacked in the game. Only three players in Hobart history have thrown at least 10 passes in a game and had a higher completion percentage. Hofmann's TD passes covered 6 yards, 75 yards (the longest pass play by a league team so far this season), 38 yards and 26 yards. His 244.8 pass efficiency on Saturday is the fifth highest in a game by a Statesman. Hofmann, who set the game record at 269.4 last week, is the only Hobart quarterback in the top five more than once. He produced 366 yards of total offense on 28 plays, a single-game record 13.1 yards per play average. Hofmann and the Statesmen amassed 501 yards at SU on 52 plays for a program record 9.6 yards per play. He has directed Hobart's offense to 118 points over the past two weeks, the most points in consecutive games in program history. Hofmann leads the Liberty League in completion percentage, passing touchdowns and efficiency.
