St. Lawrence first-year player Natalie Piper led the Saints to a 3-0 sweep at the Oswego State Invitational over the weekend with a 3-2 comeback win over Elmira and back-to-back 3-0 wins over Utica and Oswego. Piper totaled 39 kills, good for 3.9 kills per set, a .341 hitting percentage, including .538 performance against Utica and .405 vs Elmira. She also recorded 38 digs (3.8 digs/set), nine service aces and six blocks. She recorded a career-high 19 kills and 17 digs against Elmira. She was named tournament MVP and a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
