Hobart College junior Alan Dubrovsky opened his 2018-19 season with a 4-0 record at the St. Lawrence University Fall Classic this past weekend. For the second straight season, Dubrovsky captured A flight singles at the season-opening tournament. On Saturday, he defeated Hamilton's Max Zimmerman 8-4. In the quarterfinals he bested Union's Ioannis Binopoulos 8-2. On Sunday, Dubrovsky topped a pair of Rochester players in straight sets. In the semifinals, he beat Isaiah Volk 6-3, 6-4. In the championship match, he defeated Masaru Fujimaki 6-2, 6-1.
