William Smith first-year player Maggie Bonomo was a double-winner at the 2018 Mary Hosking Invitational. In her collegiate debut, she won C flight singles and B flight doubles. Bonomo opened the tournament with an 8-1 win over Maelah Nadeau and followed it up with a 8-2 victory of Claire Casalnova. In the semifinals, Bonomo dispatched Olivia Waysack 8-1. In the championship match she bested Kristen Auble 8-3. In doubles play she teamed up with Caitlin Chichora. They cruised to the finals in B flight, winning 8-1, 8-2, 8-2 in their first three matches. In the finals, Bonomo and Chichora edged Jane Haffer and Rebecca Ingber 9-7.
