Hobart College senior goalkeeper Alec Kaminer guided the Statesmen to a 1-0-1 record at the Elmer Lord Classic in Salisbury, Md., last weekend. Kaminer was named the tournament's most outstanding player after not allowing a goal in 200 minutes of action for Hobart, making 13 saves. On Friday, in Hobart's 2-0 win over the host Seagulls he made six saves, including stopping a Salisbury penalty kick. The next day, Kaminer made seven stops as the Statesmen battled to a 0-0 draw against St. Mary's College (Md.). He had two crucial stops in the second OT to keep the score tied at 0-0.
