At the 2018 NCAA Women's Track & Field Championship, Ithaca senior Taryn Cordani earned All-America honors in two events. She opened the championship with an individual national title in the 10,000 meters for the second straight year. Cordani became the first-ever student-athlete at Ithaca College to win four national titles during their career. She is also the first repeat winner in the 10K since Carter Hamill of Amherst claimed back-to-back titles in 2004-05, and just the sixth runner all-time to win more than one 10K title since 1982 with a time of 35:03.20. She followed that up with a third place showing in the 5,000 meters clocking in a timte of 16:52.78 en route to her ninth career All-America honor.
