Ithaca College graduate student Katherine Pitman helped the Bombers to the 2018 All-Atlatnic Region Outdoor Championship team title as she won the pole vault and was the runner-up in the long jump. In the pole vault, she claimed the event with a top mark of 4.00 meters (13 feet, 1.5 inches) to beat out the next closest entry by .25 meters (10 inches). In the long jump, she was the runner-up with a leap of 5.76 meters (18 feet, 10.75 inches). Pitman was outjumped by .01 meters, but the mark moves her into 10th in the nation.
