St. Lawrence University freshman Duncan Maxwell had a key 3-2 win in a 5-4 match victory over Williams which gave St. Lawrence its best ever nationals finish, 3rd in the Hoehn Division and 11th overall. Maxwell went 3-0 at team nationals and finished the year with a 13-3 individual record, tied for best on the team.
