RIT junior Matt Pogue helped the top-ranked RIT men's lacrosse team advance to the quarterfinal of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship. The junior long-stick midfielder helped RIT hold opponents to 6.0 goals per game. He led the Tigers with five caused turnovers last week, grabbing 10 ground balls and winning a face-off. Wednesday, Pogue had seven ground balls, caused four turnovers and added an assist in a 26-3 win over New England College in the second round. He added three ground balls and a caused turnover in a 17-9 win over No. 14 Stevens in the third round.
