In two matches in the Liberty League Tournament, RPI sophomore Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez earned a 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 clinching victory at first singles as the Engineers defeated top-seeded Skidmore, 5-2, and captured the 2018 Liberty League Men's Tennis Championship while earning the program's first-ever NCAA championship bid. Sebastian also played No. 1 in the semifinals and held a 6-4, 4-3 lead when the match concluded with the Engineers winning, 5-1, to advance to the championship match for the fourth time in the last five years.
