RPI junior Sean O’Connor was recognized as track athlete of the meet at the 2018 Liberty League Championship as he won the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday and placed second behind teammate Grant O’Connor in the 5,000-meter run. In the steeplechase, he was four seconds ahead of second place, recording a time of 9:31.29. In the 5,000, he was six seconds behind Grant, crossing the finish line in 15:07.04.
