University of Rochester first-year athlete Grace Messina was named Rookie of the Meet at the 2018 Liberty League Championship after winning the discus with a meet-record throw of 40.28 meters, which was previously set at 38.15 meters in 2014. She was also fifth in the hammer throw (46.98m) and 12th in the shot put (10.43m).
