In a match at Liberty League foe Union, RPI freshman Andrew Imrie and playing partner Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez won at No. 1 doubles, defeating a pair of sophomores, 8-3. Andrew then went on to capture No. 2 singles, 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) against a fellow freshman. Rensselaer defeated the Dutchmen, 7-2 to clinch the No. 2 seed in the Liberty League tournament.
