At the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore College at the Ballston Spa Country Club, RPI freshman Austin Rupp finished second in a field of 81 with a two-day total of +4, 146. He shot a 73 (+2) both days, including a Sunday round in which he had two birdies on the front nine and one on the back, going out with a one-over 36 and coming in with a one-over 37. Rupp was second in the tournament on the par 4s, shooting +2 and seventh on the par-5s at -2. He finished nine strokes behind the medalist, Chris Bornhorst of Babson College, who shot five-under-par (137) for the tournament.
