RPI sophomore Maddie Provencher was a combined 8-for-16 with eight runs batted in, five runs scored, four doubles, a home run and one walk in RPI's 4-2 weekend. The sophomore registered a .938 slugging percentage with a .529 OBP while the Engineers went undefeated in league play. Provencher hit a three-run homer in Rensselaer's 5-0 win over Rochester. The left fielder also recorded a double while going 2-for-3. The Rutland, Mass. native went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI's in the 6-5 win over the Yellowjackets in game two. The next day, Provencher went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI's and one run in RPI's game one 11-0 win over RIT and then went 1-for-2 in the second 13-2 game two win with two runs.
