University of Rochester first-year player Marissa Russo was the top hitter across eight games for the Yellowjackets this week, going 10-28 (.357). Russo added eight runs, two doubles, two HR and six RBI, slugging .643 with an OBP of .419 after drawing two walks and getting hit once. The first-year had three multi-hit games, including two in Saturday's doubleheader split against Skidmore when she also clubbed her first two career home runs.
