St. Lawrence University senior Lia Petersen went 2-0 at No. 2 singles to help the Saints sweep the weekend (2-0) with wins over William Smith and Union. Petersen beat the Herons' Michaelann Denton 6-1, 6-0 on Saturday before posting a 6-3, 6-1 win over Union's Megan Brown to clinch the decisive fifth point for St. Lawrence in a 6-3 win over the Dutchwomen.
