St. Lawrence University first-year sprinter Ian Clough qualified for the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Conference Championships in the 100-meter dash on Saturday, posting a time of 10.90 seconds in the event finals at the Saints Ice Breaker Open. Clough's time was good for second place, as he finished just one one-hundredth of a second behind teammate Gordon White. He added a third-place finish in the 200 (22.73) and ran the leadoff leg of the Saints' winning 4x100 relay, which posted a time of 43.01. Clough ranks second on the league's performance list in the 100 and fifth in the 200, and is the first rookie on the performance list in both events.
