Ithaca College sophomore goalie Robby Atwood turned in two excellent efforts to backstop the Bombers to victories over No. 17 St. Lawrence and Vassar this past week. The sophomore keeper finished the week with 21 combined saves, while he improved his record to 8-1 on the year. Atwood turned in his finest effort of the season during the mid-week fixture, helping the Bombers to a big 8-5 victory on the road at the nationally-ranked Saints. He tied his career high with 14 saves, while he conceded just five times against St. Lawrence's potent attack. The sophomore continued his big week with a seven-save effort, while allowing just a pair of Vassar tallies in 57-minutes of action on Saturday. The two excellent performances was a boon to his statistical ranks. He lowered his goals-against average to 5.83, while his save percentage improved to .639. Both marks top the Liberty League among primary starters with at least 200-minutes of game action this season.
