University of Rochester first-year athlete Grace Messina had three top-eight results at the Lynchburg Jack Toms Invitational over the weekend. Messina placed runner-up in the hammer throw with a toss of 38.30 meters, fourth in the discus with a mark of 36.87 meters and was seventh in the shot put with a toss of 10.38 meters.
