In four matches while on spring break, RPI sophomore Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez was undefeated while playing No. 1 for the Engineers, leading the team to a 4-0 record, including wins over two nationally-ranked opponents. Castillo-Sanchez began the week with a 6-4, 6-2 win over a senior from Division II Post University. RPI won the match, 7-2. He then won 6-4, 6-4 over a senior from No. 39 Stevens, which RPI also defeated 7-2. Sebastian earned a 6-2, 6-7 (4-7), 10-8 win over a junior from No. 26 Texas-Tyler in a match the Engineers captured, 5-4. He closed out the week with a 6-0, 6-2 win over a sophomore from Hamilton. RPI defeated the Continentals, 8-1.
