University of Rochester freshman Steven Zeng had a strong tournament at the Jekyll Island Invitational over the weekend, finishing in T-31st of 150 golfers at the tournament featuring 22 teams either in the GCAA top-25 or among others receiving votes. His rounds were 71, 74 and 75 (220 total) at the par-72 Pine Lakes Course. His round of 71 was the lowest of the season. Rochester finished in a tie for 17th among 30 teams at Jekyll Island. Zeng also went 2-0 for UR at a four-team Match Play Championship earlier in the week, posting wins of 3&1 and 7&6.
