With first-place finishes in the 200-IM, the 200-freestyle and 100-backstroke, Bard College junior Dio Tzortzis was named the Liberty League Male Swimmer of the Year at the 2018 Liberty League Championships. With a time-trial time of 4:00.30, Tzortzis easily beat the NCAA B Cut mark of 4:02.37 in the 400-IM. In the 200-IM he finished in 1:51.61 and the 200 freestyle was completed in 1:40.51. He also had a time of 50.57 seconds in the 100 back.
