St. Lawrence University sophomore Eric Tecce was 2-0 at No. 1 singles this weekend, helping the Saints to wins over SUNY Oneonta (6-3) and Saint Michael's (9-0) to open the spring season. He battled back after a 3-6 loss in the first set against Oneonta's Joseph D'Orazio to win the second 6-4 and was leading the third 3-0 before D'Orazio retired from the match. Against Saint Michael's, Tecce beat Matt Mosher in straight sets 6-0, 6-1. He finished the weekend with a combined 4-0 record in singles and doubles play.
