Ithaca College senior Amber Edwards was a third-place finisher in the 60-meter hurdles at Cornell on Sunday as she crossed the line in 8.93 seconds to set a new school record by .03 seconds. Edwards broke the previous school standard of 8.96 second set by Emma Dewart, a two-time national champion in the pentathlon, in 2010. Her time is now the eighth fastest in Division III this season. Edwards also clocked a time of 8.19 in the 60 dash.
