Hobart College first-year guard Dan Masino averaged 19.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 3.0. apg and 2.0 spg in a record-breaking week for the Statesmen. At Skidmore on Friday, he produced 18 points, seven rebounds and a game-high five assists in a 78-62 win the clinched the Liberty League regular season championship. Masino was at his best in the first half against the Thoroughbreds, scoring a game-high 13 points, despite the game being interrupted twice by fire alarms. On Saturday at Bard, he shared team-high honors with 20 points and shared game-high honors with 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. The 82-72 win over the Raptors was Hobart's 14th in a row, a program record. It was also the team's 20th win of the season. It's just the sixth time the Statesmen have won 20 games in a season and it's the fastest the program has ever reached the milestone. For the week, Masino shot .650 from the floor and .750 at the free throw line.
