In three games last week, RPI junior guard Tom Horvat averaged 23.3 points, shooting better than 50% from the field, with 4.3 rebounds in 31.0 minutes as the Engineers went 2-1. He added seven assists, a block and a steal with five turnovers. In a 77-69 loss at league-leading Hobart, Horvat made 7-of-14 shots, including 4-of-8 from three-point range and 4-of-4 from the foul line, for 22 points. He also had four assists, two rebounds, a block and a steal in 35 minutes. On Friday in a 72-66 victory over Union, he scored 20 points with four rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes. Horvat finished the week with a game-high 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field (3-of-7 from 3-point range) and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. He also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and added an assist while playing 25 minutes of an 83-76 win over Ithaca.
