Ithaca College senior Taryn Cordani paced the Bombers with a 14th place finish out of 279 runners in 21:05.50 to register her third All-American performance of her career at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. Cordani jumped out ahead of the lead pack early on in the race and remained in front by the one-mile check point. By the second mile split, she had fallen back to fifth, and at three miles she was in sixth place. Although she finished 14th overall, Cordani logged an eighth place finish in points for Ithaca, as she became just the third student-athlete on South Hill to be named an All-American three times in her career. The other two were Colleen Skelly (1985-87) and Jannette Bonrouhi (1986-89).
