RPI freshman Grant O'Connor finished fourth in the NCAA Championship Meet with an 8K time of 24:19.35 to help the Engineers to a 14th place finish in the national championship event. He was five seconds from third (24:14.15) and a second in front of the fifth place finisher (24:20.60).
