Ithaca College junior middle hitter Amanda Cerruti was selected as the Most Outstanding Player at the NCAA New York Regional after helping the Bombers to the regional title and a berth in the NCAA quarterfinals for the first time since 1999. For the tournament, Cerruti hit .369 in three matches while recording 35 kills with just eight errors in 73 attempts. Cerruti, who averaged 3.18 kills and 1.00 blocks in 11 sets, recorded 17 kills in a 3-1 second-round victory over Stevens.
