St. Lawrence University freshman Mary Terhune finished 33rd at the NCAA Atlantic Regional to earn All-Region honors and land the Saints in fourth place, good for an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship. Terhune's time of 22:55.7 was 57.4 seconds faster than her previous best 6K time; she was the fourth rookie to cross the finish line and the first among Liberty League teams.
