Hobart College senior defender Joseph Escamilla anchored the Hobart defense that posted two shutout victories on its way to its first Liberty League Championship title since 2009. He earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team for his efforts. The Statesmen defeated RIT 2-0 on Saturday, holding the Tigers to four shots on goal. Hobart topped Vassar 2-0 in the championship game on Sunday. The Statesmen have earned six shutouts this season.
