Hobart College junior defender Alex Weisbein, the Liberty League Championship MVP and All-Tournament Team honoree, scored both Hobart goals in a 2-0 victory for the Statesmen over Vassar for the conference championship. It was Hobart's first league tournament title since 2009. Weisbein also anchored the Statesmen defense to shutout victories in both of its tournament games. The Statesmen defeated RIT 2-0 in their semifinal game. Hobart has posted six shutouts this fall.
