In two games last week, RPI sophomore Rachel Kaufman stopped 10 of 11 shots in 150:00 for a .909 save percentage and a 0.70 goals against average as the Engineers went 1-1 in a pair of non-league games. She came on in relief of a 5-1 loss at New Paltz on Wednesday, playing the final 35:00 and stopping one of the three shots she faced. Against Oneonta on Saturday, Kaufman made eight saves on eight shots through regulation and two overtimes - three in the first half, four in the second and one in the second overtime - before stopping four of five penalty strokes as the Engineers defeated the Red Dragons, 1-0 (2-1 in strokes).
