William Smith College freshman Paighton Alberts was the second Heron finisher at the Hamilton Short Course Tune Up on Saturday. Running the 3-kilometer layout at the Hamilton Golf Course, she finished in a time of 12:06.2 to place ninth in a field of 51 runners. Alberts was just 4.5 seconds behind teammate Jules Picuri.
