Hobart College senior Shane Sweeney completed 66 percent of his passes for 305 yards and four touchdowns as Hobart won at Hartwick 49-27. He completed passes to eight different receivers, distributing his TDs to three different players. Sweeney's TD passes covered 63, 33, 5 and 10 yards. It was Sweeney's ninth career game with 300-plus yards passing and ninth game with four or more touchdown passes. It was the second most passing yards allowed by the Hawks this seaason. They came into the game allowing just 186.0 passing yards. Sweeney finished the game without an interception for the fifth time this season. He has the Liberty League's lowest interception rate, throwing a pick once every 58.5 passes. The runner-up is intercepted once every 40 passes. Sweeney also paces the conference in completions, passing yards and passing touchdowns.
