In the Men's Collegiate Eight race at the Head of the Genesee regatta, the RIT varsity eight of Chris Atras, Matt Kehoe (Ithaca, NY/Ithaca), Konstantin Hamilton (Gaithersburg, MD/Magruder), Joe Grosso (Fairfield, CT/Fairfield Prep), John Habjan (New Milford, CT/New Milford), Ramsey Doolittle (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Mendon), Matt Fitzgerald, Spencer Gasiorowski (Milwaukee, WI/Whitefish Bay), and Connor Murdock (Hopkinton, MA/Hopkinton) powered down the course as the first seed and finished first with a time of 15:42.72, ahead of second place finisher Ithaca College (15:57.27).
