RIT freshman Kristen Zablonski won the "C" flight singles competition for the Tigers at the Mary Hosking Invitational hosted by William Smith College. Zablonski defeated Yaya Wang of Rochester, 8-1 in the opening round before defeating Katelyn Nguyen of host William Smith in the quarterfinals, 8-2. On Sunday, she upended Haley Sherrard of St. Lawrence, 8-0 in the semifinals and claimed the title with an 8-4 win over Grace van Tartwijk of St. Lawrence.
