Vassar College junior Devan Gallagher continued her fine start to the 2017 season, as she helped the Brewers to a 5-0 week, including a 4-0 record and title at the Vassar Invitational this past weekend. For the week, Gallagher averaged 4.20 kills per set, hitting .318 with six aces (0.40/set) and 3.67 digs per set (55 total). Gallagher posted 16 kills in a three-set win over Williams on Wednesday evening, as she hit .302 while chalking up 10 digs for a double-double. She then posted nine kills and nine digs in a 3-0 win over King's College, followed by 11 kills and nine digs in a three-set win over Medaille. Gallagher hit .318 and added a match-best 16 digs against University of New England, ending the weekend with a huge double-double of 18 kills and 11 digs against Bates, as she hit .429.
