Vassar College freshman midfielder Tessa Waters was huge for the Brewers in a pair of Liberty League wins this weekend, as she finished the two Vassar victories with seven goals on 12 shots, posting two ground balls, five draw controls and two caused turnovers. Against Clarkson on Friday, Waters chalked up three goals in a 14-13 win over the Golden Knights, while also posting two ground balls and four draw controls. Saturday against St. Lawrence, Vassar trailed by four late in the game, but Waters and the Brewers scored the last five goals, including the overtime game-winner from Waters, her fourth of the day, to give VC the win. The rookie finished her freshman campaign with 32 goals and eight assists, along with 35 draw controls.
