William Smith College junior midfielder Melissa Moore led the Herons with eight goals, nine points, 10 ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 2-0 weekend for William Smith. The Herons finished a perfect 9-0 in league play this year. Moore shared a game-high with four goals and added an assist in a 15-5 win over Rochester on Friday. She added a game-high six ground balls as well as two caused turnovers and a draw. On Saturday in a 13-4 win over RIT, Moore once again logged a game-high four goals and this time she added game-highs of four ground balls and three caused turnovers. She also picked up a draw. Moore has posted 32 goals and 14 assists for 46 points this season. She leads the Herons with 42 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers and has added 29 draws.
