RIT senior Jess Calzolari finished fifth out of seven competitors throughout Division I, II, and III in the heptathlon in the multi-events portion of the Penn Relays on Tuesday and Wednesday. Calzolari finished with a personal best total of 4,077 points, which currently ranks 23rd in the nation in Division III. On day one, Calzolari began with a fifth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, and backed the up with a tie for second place in the high jump, with a top jump of 1.55 meters. She finished the day off with a sixth-place finish in the shot put and fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash. On day two, she begun with a third-place jump of 5.05 meters in the long jump, and then was fourth in the javelin, with a personal-best 30.54 meters. In the final event, the 800-meter dash, Calzolari finished fifth with a time of 2:36.90.
