Vassar College senior attack Sam Houston-Read had a banner week for the Brewers, lifting Vassar to a pair of big wins, catapulting the team into the Liberty League playoffs for the first time in program history. For the week, Houston-Read chalked up 12 total points. On Wednesday, he scored once and dished out a team-high four assists in a 19-4 win over Bard. On Saturday, with the season on the line, Houston-Read was even better, as he chalked up five goals and two assists for seven points in a 20-10 win over Union.
