Union College senior Noemie Bechu had a historic day at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships, contributing to 32 of Union's 40 points and becoming Union's first-ever double-winner at the league's outdoor championships. Bechu set a program and a Liberty League Championships record in the 200-meter dash, winning the event in 25.37. She registered her second first-place finish of the day in the 400-meter dash, winning the event by 2.44 seconds with a time of 57.91. She also paired with Emma Marlow-Benedick, Anna Browne and Reid Nichols for second in the 4x100-meter dash (50.61). In her final event of the day, she teamed with Browne, Hannah Barnes and Samantha Miller for fourth in the 4x400-meter relay (4:13.50).
