RIT freshman shortstop Erin Guinan hit .500 (13-for-26) with a .536 on-base percentage, .769 slugging percentage, two home runs, six RBIs, and six runs scored in a 4-4 week for the Tigers, including a 3-1 start to league play. On Wednesday, Guinan went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBIs, and run scored in a split against The College at Brockport. On Saturday, Guinan was perfect, going 6-for-6 with two walks, a home run, three runs scored, and two RBIs in a doubleheader sweep over Skidmore. She was 4-for-4 in game one and scored three times in game two. Sunday, Guinan homered in a game one loss to Clarkson, then went 2-for-4 with a run scored and RBI in a 5-3 win. Guinan is hitting .469 (38-for-81) with 22 runs scored, three homers and 18 RBIs this season.
