Freshman Tara Edwards and sophomore Morgane Flournoy teamed up for the first time this year in doubles as the pair went 3-0 at the 2017 Seven Sisters Championship. Playing as the No. 1 doubles team for Vassar while earning All-Seven Sisters accolades, Edwards and Flournoy started the weekend with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Smith College Saturday, and followed that up with a 6-4, 7-6 (4) win over Mount Holyoke College in the first match Sunday. In the title match against No. 33 Wellesley, the duo dropped the first set but rebounded to pick up a 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (5) win at No. 1 doubles to help Vassar to a 4-1 win over Wellesley. With the win, Vassar has now won nine straight dual matches.
