Union College junior Jake Vesling batted .615 (8-13) with a .692 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage, also producing a team-high seven RBI in Union's 5-0 week. He was 5-for-9 with four RBI and three runs scored in Union's four-game Liberty League sweep of Rochester. He also picked up the win on the mound in game one of the series, allowing three runs on three hits while striking out four and walking three over five and two-thirds innings. Vesling was 3-for-4 with three RBI in a midweek 16-3 win against Southern Vermont.
