William Smith College senior midfielder Alexandra Bird led the Herons with 11 points in a 2-0 week on the road. She notched a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists in an 8-4 victory over then No. 13 Hamilton. It was William Smith's first win over the Continentals since 2006. Bird's second goal of the game marked her 100th career goal. She's the 21st Heron to reach the milestone. She also added a caused turnover in the win over Hamilton. In a 17-10 win over Nazareth, Bird added two goals and two assists as well as a caused turnover and a ground ball. Bird leads William Smith with 14 points on nine goals and five assists this season.
