Vassar College freshman forward Sophie Nick continues to play well for the Brewers during her freshman campaign, totaling 30 points on 56 percent shooting, including a game-winning buzzer-beating layup, 19 rebounds and four assists in a 1-1 weekend. Against St. Lawrence on Friday, Nick capped her 16-point performance with a career highlight, laying in the buzzer-beating basket for Vassar to escape with a 72-70 win. Through 23 games, Nick leads the team in rebounds (8.6rpg) and blocks (14), also averaging 12.4 points per game.
