St. Lawrence first-year athlete Laura Gardner, who won the 60-meter dash (8.27) at the 2017 Liberty League Indoor Track and Field Championship, was selected as the meet’s Outstanding Rookie. Gardner was the only rookie to record an individual victory in the championship.
